To prevent certain visitors from being blocked on your site you can whitelist their IP range. This is especially helpful so you don’t block a bot that is indexing your site since they can generate a large number of 404 errors. Go to the whitelist page under the Honeypot Toolkit menu item in your wordpress admin and add the desired IP range. When a visitor comes to your site using one of those ranges they will bypass the honeypot checks. To get a list of known search bot IPs you can do some research on the web. I use the site below to get my ranges. Make sure you check the ranges before adding them but so far this site seems pretty accurate.
